Supper Club is what we call our bi-weekly dinner with our best friend AJ. Every two weeks, we take turns picking different restaurants around town. There are no concrete rules really, it doesn’t have to be somewhere we’ve never been before (although we usually pick places we haven’t been to) and it’s not limited to a certain kind of food-even fast food has made an appearance. I will be reviewing each restaurant from here on out, but in the mean time check out my *mini* reviews for the places that we’ve been to already!
El Parador- This was my first pick and I was disappointed. The ambience was great, the service was horrible, the food was decent.
Chef Alisah’s Restaraunt- weird atmosphere, weird service, weird food.
SunnyDaze Cafe- This place has a beach/flamingo theme. The service was great, the food was delicious and the prices are awesome!
El Torero- The machaca was good and I like the option they have for junior sized burritos…the waitress burned my arm with a hot plate.
The Claim Jumper- Typical chain place, good service, food was just okay for me.
5th Street Kosher Deli and Market- This place is awesome! The sandwiches are huge (get the half portion!)
Kazoku- I remember I liked the sushi here, but I don’t remember what I got or what the place even looked like.
Saffron Indian Bistro- I liked this place more than I thought I would. The atmosphere is nice and the waitresses were helpful with recommendations.
Cody’s Beef N Beans- We all had the sirloin special on Wednesday Night. The service was decent and the restaurant had an old west type of theme. Pretty good. We’ve since been back and have not had such a good experience.
Culver’s- This was a supper club actually BROUGHT to us, so I didn’t see the place, but from what I understand it’s a typical fast food joint. Cheese curds should be illegal!
Mariscos Chihuahua- The NW location is the best! The food is fresh, the waiters are nice, you can’t go wrong.
Monkey Burger- This place is pretty cool with the artwork and the gourmet take on hamburgers. I also like the sweet potato fry option.
Rigo’s- We went to the northwest location-and I gotta say I was disappointed. They didn’t live up to the original Rigo’s.
